A little about me
Hello! I’m Chris, lead designer at a company based in Cumbria primarily providing professional, interactive design solutions for the web.
My background is in traditional methods of art-making and design practice. I went straight to Art College from school at the tender age of sixteen and completed my degree in Fine Art at the University of Central Lancashire, focusing on the painting and drawing disciplines. As a result I can lend my creative eye and aptitude for layout and composition to each project I undertake. During my 9 years experience in web design I have developed a keen interest in Information Architecture, Usability and Interface Design ensuring my motivation is not purely cosmetic but focuses on functionality and the goals of your end user. After all, you need more than just a pretty site.
Working in the small, dedicated Furness Webteam, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients throughout Cumbria and the North, including, small to large businesses, start-ups and larger organisations. My philosophy dictates that I approach all with the same passion for design.
When not trying to perfect my latest design, you might also find me playing 5-aside football or being thrashed on Mario Kart by my 6 year old daughter.
